THE METROCARD SWIPING SEAT
Metrocards are New Yorkers' key to the City. They have become integral in my life and a considerable amount of my time is spent underground with the MTA. After being asked to create a “chair that inspires,” I immediately envisioned New York, and the embodiment of the city is the subway. Allowing me to reach every corner of this exciting city it is the perfect symbol of what inspires me. The Swiping Seat is an oversized metro card and swiper that form a sturdy bench, providing an inspiring place to sit.
