MY DATING SHOES
Footprints are symbols that signify someone has come and gone—moved forward in the physical space. This was the overarching idea that lead me to create my “Dating Shoes.” After being asked to design a shoe with a Covid Pandemic theme, I thought about the time we have spent in this pandemic and how we are slowly moving forward. The heel is a dating stamp; as you walk it marks the date behind you, referencing moving forward, away from this difficult time.
